Qualifying 1:

Erik JANIS – nr 15 S-Berg Racing Team Lamborghini Gallardo, 1st : “This is my first pole position in this Championship and the first for Lamborghini this season. I had a clear lap, and we decided before the session that we will only do two fast laps, as we want to save our tyres for the race. The team told me that the time was OK, so I decided to come in to the pits. We are confident for the race. I hope we will be lucky, and that we could have a good result. It is important for us.”

Gilles VANNELET – nr 38  Kessel Racing Ferrari 430, 3rd: “Yesterday we were not really happy after the free practice session; we did not find a good set up. Today it was much better. In my first lap, I understood that the car was much better. I did a good lap, and I decided to come back to the pits, even if I had the feeling that it was possible to improve. So we have good tyres for the race. Our goal was to get a good position, with good tyres for the race, so it is good for us. Luca Pirri and Jurgen von Gartzen are very close. We have to keep an eye on them. Both races are going to be exciting.”

Qualifying 2:

Andrew THOMPSON – nr 11 First Racing Lamborghini Gallardo, 1st : “I’m delighted with this result. The car is very good. We know that we had to do our time straight away, as the tyres are really efficient only during two or three laps. I was lucky to have got clear traffic. It is interesting to start from the front. Our result will depend on the consistency of our tyres. We are fast for one lap, but we do not know how that will be during a one hour race. It is our first race with this car, so we do not know it very well, but the team does.”

Henri MOSER – nr 38 Kessel Racing Ferrari 430, 2nd : “It is a good position. We are not here to set the pole position, but to score points. During three laps I was alone on the track, so I did my job, and then I went back to the pits. Being in the first row is important. This week-end is important for us for the Championship. We have to keep an eye to the others, but we do not have to take any risks.”

Klaus LUDWIG – nr 16 Martini Callaway Racing Corvette Z06R GT3, 5th : “I had a clutch problem, but anyway, I could not manage to do the Lamborghini’s time! The races are going to be important for our team, as Luca Pirri and Jurgen von Gartzen did good qualifying sessions. We are all here to help them get good result. It is very close.”
