DB Motorsport BMW and LMP Aston Martin fastest on Day 1 at Silverstone
FREE PRACTICE 1
Nicky Catsburg went fastest in the nr36 Faster Racing by DB Motorsport BMW Z4 GT3 with a lap of 2:05.395. In the nr50 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia, Francesco Castellacci set the second fastest time of 2:05.828. Third quickest this session was Petri Lappalainen in the nr 2 Prospeed Competition Porsche 911 GT3 R, with a best time of 2:05.975.

FREE PRACTICE 2
Maxime Martin set the fastest lap of the session in the nr9 LMP Motorsport Aston Martin DBRS9, with his time of 2:04.226, over a full second faster than this morning's best. Francesco Castellacci was second fastest once more in the nr50 AF Corse Ferrari, with their best of 2:04.247. Third quickest in the nr3 Graff Racing Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 was Mike Parisy with his best time of 2:04.703.
