A year later Edwards took part in the Silverstone round of the FIA GT Championship with Miro Konopka in an ARC Bratislava entered Saleen S7..

The Blancpain Endurance Series also saw Edwards compete and score some well-judged results, including a Pro-Am win at the Nürburgring in 2012, alongside Steve Jans and Oliver Morley in a Black Falcon entered Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. The trio then took a 3rd place at Navarra in the season finale.

2013 was proving to be Sean Edwards’most successful season so far with a victory, again with Black Falcon Mercedes in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, as well as several wins in the Porsche Supercup where he led the championship standings with just one round remaining.

The son of former Grand Prix driver, Guy Edwards, Sean was a popular and well respected member of the International racing community. His untimely death will be felt throughout the racing industry and SRO Motorsports Group would like to express its sincere condolences to Sean’s family and his many friends.
