Joe Osborne, the current European GT4 champion and BRDC Rising Star, has landed a last minute drive in a Porsche GT3 R with Belgian based Muehlner Motorsport at Silverstone this coming weekend.

Osborne said “I am really pleased to have landed this deal as it with a very competitive team, car and team mate. It is going to be a really steep learning curve as I have had no chance to test at all and I have only ever driven 6 laps in a 911 GT3”! The 21 year old added “having won the European GT4 Championship last year this is the step I wanted to make and it has been tough getting here. Now all I want to do is make the most of free practice on Friday and to see how competitive we can be”.

It is going to be a busy few weeks for Osborne as he is also competing in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship in the G4 category racing a Ginetta G50.
