20/06/2009 Double Pole for Hexis in Oschersleben

Thomas Accary (#3 Hexis Racing AMR Aston Martin DBRS9) was the quickest driver in the first 20 minute qualifying session for Round 5 of the 2009 FIA GT3 European Championship in Germany.  The 2007 FIA GT3 Vice Champion posted a lap time of 1m29.729 to push Christian Mamerow (#25 Alpina BMW Alpina B6 GT3) into second spot with five minutes remaining.  Dino Lunardi was 3rd quickest in the #2 Matech GT Racing Ford GT and will line up on row 2 alongside Nicolas Armindo in the #32 Team Rosberg Audi R8 LMS.  It was all smiles at Hexis as Frederic Makowiecki took pole for Round 6 in the second qualifying session with a lap of 1m28.991, the fastest time of the weekend so far.  Marc Basseng will line up on the front row for Sunday's race in the Muehlner Motorsport Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S, with Claudia Huertgen (#24 Alpina BMW Alpina B6 GT3) and Christopher Haase (#26 Phoenix racing Audi R8 LMS) on row 2.
